Drunk driver on carsharing detained in Minsk

January 28, MINSK. A drunk driver of a car-sharing Chevrolet drove around Minsk. The violator was detained by employees of the special unit for ensuring road safety of the traffic police of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee, BelTA learned from the department.

On January 28, at about 5.10 am, a man was driving a foreign car near the house No. 44 on Yankovsky Street when he was detained by traffic police. The driver turned out to be drunk, as the examination showed, in the body of a 26-year-old violator they found 2.31 ppm of ALCOHOL. Administrative materials were drawn up against him.

"Driving while intoxicated is a potentially dangerous and gross violation of traffic rules," the traffic police reminded. Drivers are urged not to make mistakes and not to drive while intoxicated, as the reverse action can lead to sad consequences.
