January 2, MINSK. The Rechitsa regional department of the Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the death of a 27-year-old resident of Rechitsa, BelTA learned from the Investigative Committee.

"On December 31 at 11:10 p.m., police officers detained a man at a public transport stop on Sovetskaya Street with signs of severe ALCOHOL intoxication . Because of his disobedience, physical force was used against him," the Investigative Committee said. "The man was taken to the Rechitsa District Department of Internal Affairs, and then As part of the administrative process, they took him to a district hospital for a medical examination. At the entrance to the medical facility, the man became ill. The young man was urgently taken to the emergency room, where they began to carry out resuscitation measures. Despite the efforts of doctors, at 1.20 he was pronounced dead."

A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the cause of death. "According to the preliminary conclusions of experts, the death is not of a traumatic nature - no damage to internal organs, bone fractures were found on the body of the deceased. The conclusion of an expert study for the presence of alcohol, narcotic and other substances in the blood is expected," the ministry added.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. Surveys are being conducted, medical documentation from the polyclinic at the place of residence of the Rechchanin and other medical institutions will be studied.
