Police of Grodno will strengthen security measures at the festival of national cultures

June 2, MINSK. Grodno will host the XIII Republican Festival of National Cultures on June 3 and 4. The police will strengthen the security and comfort of the participants and spectators of the festival. BelTA was informed about this by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee.

"It is forbidden to bring to the event cold, firearms, gas or other weapons, explosives and ammunition, specially made or adapted items, as well as other substances, the use of which may pose a threat to life and HEALTH of people or cause material damage to citizens and organizations (with the exception of sports events for sports in which their use is provided).Imitators and models of cold, firearms, gas or other weapons, explosives and ammunition are also prohibited (with the exception of theater and other creative groups during their performances). Emblems are on the list of prohibited , symbols, posters, banners and other means, the content of which is aimed at causing damage to public order, the rights and legitimate interests of citizens",- told the police department.

it is forbidden to carry flags, pennants that are not registered in accordance with the established procedure (with the exception of theater and other creative groups during their performances, pyrotechnic products (fireworks, rockets, etc.), alcoholic beverages, beer, narcotic drugs, psychotropic, toxic or other intoxicating substances, soft drinks with a capacity of more than 0.5 liters, as well as in glass or tin containers or from fragile, breakable, hard or opaque material, laser devices (pointers, etc.), professional photo and video equipment (except when their use is authorized by the organizer of mass events).

Under the ban - animals (with the exception of guide dogs and service dogs), bicycles (with the exception of mass events in which their use is provided), bulky objects (things), other objects (things) prohibited by legislative acts of the Republic of Belarus or programs (regulations ) public events.

"It is forbidden to participate in a mass event in a state of alcoholic intoxication or in a state caused by the consumption of narcotic drugs, psychotropic, toxic or other intoxicating substances," law enforcement officers added.
