The harvesting campaign continues in Kuzbass.

To date, the threshing of grain and legume crops has exceeded 19,000 hectares. Early potato and vegetable crops have been harvested from an area of ​​6.5 hectares.
"August began with rain. Despite this, the harvest is proceeding as usual. 65,700 tons of grain have already been threshed. We are primarily harvesting barley, oats,Peas and winter crops. The average yield was approximately 34.5 centners per hectare—5 centners more than last year. Farmers have also begun harvesting early varieties of potatoes and vegetables. "It is crucial to harvest the entire crop before the onset of frost to ensure food security in the region," emphasized Kuzbass Governor Ilya Seredyuk.
In the Prokopyevsk Municipal District, 12 enterprises have begun harvesting. Winter rye, spring barley, oats, peas, and early potatoes are being harvested . 1,100 hectares have been threshed, yielding 4,700 tons, with an average yield of 42.7 centners per hectare.
Harvesting of spring barley, peas, and oats is underway in the Krapivinsky Municipal District. Winter rapeseed has been completely harvested—226 tons have been threshed from 113 hectares.
In the Mariinsky Municipal District, winter crops have been fully harvested—305 hectares with an average yield of 36 centners per hectare. 700 hectares of peas have also been harvested, with a yield of 27 centners per hectare.
In the Tisulsky Municipal District, 1,566 hectares of grain have been harvested—7% of the total area—with a yield of 36.2 centners per hectare.
In the Leninsk-Kuznetsky Municipal District, over 10,000 tons of grain have been threshed from an area of ​​4,300 hectares. Winter rye and wheat, spring barley, peas, and oats are being harvested.
Farmers in the Topkinsky Municipal District are also struggling to secure a harvest. In total, 920 hectares of grain have been threshed in the district, yielding 2,440 tons.
As part of the forage base preparation, the haylage plan is 90% complete, and 75% of the hay has been laid. The next step is to prepare succulent forage.
