Against the backdrop of sanctions, every second Russian (50%) faced a shortage of familiar goods. This follows from the results of the VTsIOM survey of March 18, which was presented on April 6 at a round table at the HSE Yasinsk conference with the participation of representatives of business and the scientific community. RBC followed the broadcast on the conference website (the VTsIOM press service did not comment on the poll, declaring the non-public status of the event, despite the open broadcast).

Most often, respondents reported cases of SUGAR shortages - 41% of Russians spoke about this. Earlier, the FAS reported that the lack of sugar on store shelves in a number of regions is due to the rush demand, which is fueled by unscrupulous organizations.
