In the Lipetsk region, an additional ₽3.4 billion was allocated for healthcare

The Lipetsk Regional Council of Deputies has adjusted the parameters of the main financial document of the region for 2021. According to the amendments, budget revenues and expenditures will be increased by 1.3 billion rubles, Governor Igor Artamonov said.

According to him, 700 million rubles have been allocated through healthcare. Using these funds, they plan to purchase consumables for testing the population for a new CORONAVIRUS infection, medicines for privileged categories of citizens and for the treatment of covid patients both in inpatient and outpatient settings.

In addition, additional funds will be directed to the creation of covid hospitals in Dankovsky, Usmansky and Terbunsky districts. Mobile ambulance crews and HEALTH workers involved in the vaccination of the population will receive incentive payments. Also, at the expense of budgetary funds, equipment will be purchased and repairs will be carried out in healthcare facilities.

Another 170 million rubles will be additionally received by hospitals and clinics in the region, financed from the funds of compulsory medical insurance, to pay off accounts payable for medicines, food and utilities.

“In general, allocations for healthcare increased during the year compared to the original plan by 3.468 billion rubles, of which 2.312 billion rubles were allocated for measures related to the prevention and elimination of the consequences of the spread of coronavirus infection,” said Igor Artamonov.
