Sobyanin assessed the impact of non-working days on the situation with COVID-19

Non-working days have significantly slowed down the pace of the spread of CORONAVIRUS in Moscow, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on the RUSSIA 1 TV channel.

“We can now say with confidence that the non-working days provided for by the presidential decree have played a serious role in smoothing and reducing the incidence,” he said.

As the HEAD of the city emphasized, this week the epidemiological situation began to improve: the incidence and the number of hospitalizations are decreasing. According to him, over the past five days, about a thousand beds for patients with covid-19 have been vacated in the capital .

Sobyanin estimated the incidence in Moscow after non-working days Society

Non-working days in Moscow were announced from October 28 to November 7. On Tuesday, November 9, Sobyanin cited data according to which the number of newly diagnosed cases decreased by 15% in the capital and the number of hospitalizations decreased by 4% per week. On the same day, the mayor of the capital announced that the Moscow authorities would decide on further measures to combat the coronavirus based on the indicators of the current week.
