Every twelfth Russian consulted with doctors online, through medical consultation services. This is reported in a study of the job search and recruitment service SuperJob (available to RBC).
The study was conducted from 15 to 25 October. In total, 3.5 thousand people over 18 from all districts of RUSSIA took part in the survey.
SuperJob calculated that one in twelve Russians surveyed consulted doctors online, with 5% using them for the first time before the pandemic, and 3% after the start of the pandemic. They noted that every sixth client of telemedicine services (17%) had to seek medical advice directly at the workplace.
At the same time, there are twice as many women who started consulting doctors online after the start of the covid-19 pandemic than men: 5% versus 2%, respectively.
