In the Bryansk region, the transportation of 27 horses without veterinary documents was stopped

According to the explanation received from the carrier, the animals allegedly traveled from the Nizhny Novgorod region to the village of Krasnaya Gora, Bryansk region, for the purpose of further sale.

During the subsequent inspection, inspectors of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office found that the animals did not have any accompanying veterinary documents confirming the epizootic welfare of the area and their clinical health . An analysis of the Mercury traceability and electronic certification system also did not show the execution of veterinary accompanying documents in electronic form (eVSD) for these horses.

In addition, the animals were not identified.

As a result, on April 19 of this year. the horses were returned to the place of departure for preventive measures and identification. Information on this fact was sent to the Veterinary Committee of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The culprit was brought to administrative responsibility by the Rosselkhoznadzor Office.

In total, since the beginning of the year, the movement of 3 vehicles transporting 91 live animals ( cattle , horses) without veterinary accompanying documents has been suspended in the Bryansk region.

The Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Bryansk, Smolensk and Kaluga regions once again reminds the heads of agricultural enterprises, animal owners and specialists of veterinary authorities of the constituent entities that the uncontrolled movement of farm animals and poultry without veterinary accompanying documents, including from the territory of other states, can contribute to the introduction and spread various infectious diseases and the deterioration of the epizootic situation both in a specific region of the country and in the Russian Federation as a whole.
