"He wanted to teach me a lesson." A Slutsk resident who damaged a car was found by shoe prints.

A local resident contacted the Slutsk District Department of Internal Affairs (RDI) and reported leaving his Peugeot in an unguarded parking lot near his home that evening. Upon returning, he discovered damage to the car's body, with a clearly visible shoe print on the surface.
A specialist from the Slutsk Interdistrict Department of the State Forensic Examination Committee, who arrived at the scene as part of an investigative team, discovered and removed the shoe print from the hood of the car.
During the investigation, police detained a man born in 1986, a resident of Slutsk. A forensic trace examination was ordered to clarify all the circumstances, including the suspect's involvement in the damage to the car. An examination revealed that the footprint found during the crime scene inspection belonged to the sole of the detainee's right sneaker. 
The detainee explained to law enforcement that he had committed this rash act while intoxicated , believing the car was parked illegally and therefore kicked the vehicle. The Slutsk District Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on this matter.
