Over the past day, Russian doctors have identified 9,027 new cases of coronavirus infection while testing 112,000 people, the operational headquarters reported on Telegram. This figure was the highest since April 20, when 9195 cases were detected.

Most cases were detected in Moscow - 3673, St. Petersburg  - 946, Moscow region - 596.

1,628 people were admitted to hospitals, which is 2.2% less than the day before. 36 Russians died, 5115 recovered.
