The State Duma voted for the adoption of a law granting the right to farms and individual entrepreneurs who do not have the status of a legal entity to engage in livestock breeding. This issue has been repeatedly discussed by farmers at AKKOR congresses

“The State Duma adopted in the third final reading the relevant bill, finalized and improved thanks to the amendments of our party,” comments one of the authors of the document, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, federal coordinator of the Russian Village party project Vladimir Plotnikov. “Now both farmers and individual entrepreneurs without forming a legal entity will be able to receive the status of a “pedigree farm” and enjoy state support.”

In addition, the law provides that, depending on the type of activity of the breeding farm, the state authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation, exercising management in the field of livestock breeding, issue a conclusion on compliance with the type of breeding farm. The requirements for the types of such farms are approved by a state body specially authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation for the management of livestock breeding.

United RUSSIA consistently fulfills its promises to support farmers. One of the points of the People's Program of the party speaks of the need to simplify the administrative requirements for the conduct of micro and small businesses in agriculture and ensure their support.

“Today it is necessary to increase the livestock, and small forms of management have large reserves in this. Animal husbandry is an additional volume of production. This is employment in the countryside, this is the income of rural families,” said State Duma deputy Vladimir Plotnikov. “The development of animal husbandry is a real way to solve the problem set by the President: reducing poverty, creating jobs in rural areas.”

The Federal Law comes into force on September 1, 2022.
