Underground production of moonshine liquidated in Oshmyany district

March 10, Grodno. A mini-factory for the production of moonshine was liquidated by employees of the police department in the Oshmyany district, BelTA has learned with reference to the press service of the police department of the Grodno regional executive committee.

The production of strong ALCOHOL was organized by a 32-year-old resident of Oshmyany. In the course of measures to eliminate the centers of home-brewing, law enforcement officers seized from him 420 liters of the finished product and 1000 liters of mash ready for the production cycle, as well as a moonshine still. An administrative report has been drawn up on the fact of the offense, and an investigation is underway. Previously, the man has already been held accountable for committing similar offenses.

The press service noted that the effectiveness of the work of the police to eradicate the illegal production of alcohol directly depends on the degree of civic activity of the population.
