In the period from 2017 to 2021, agricultural enterprises of Udmurtia purchased 5242 new agricultural machinery and equipment. The total amount of investments they directed during this five-year period to the renewal of the machine and tractor fleet amounted to 12.58 billion rubles.
In recent years, the farms of the republic have been systematically increasing the purchase of new equipment in order to sow and harvest crops on time. Modern, energy-rich and high-performance equipment is an important assistant in the field. So, in 2021, the industry’s fleet was updated with 1,166 units of new products (the figure for 2020 is 1,127 units, for 2019 – 834 units). 231 new tractors, 45 grain harvesters and 23 forage harvesters entered service. Recently, it is the tractor fleet that has been undergoing significant renewal - its renewal ratio (acquisition for availability at the end of the year) has increased from 2.6% to 4.1% since 2017.
The confident pace of technical modernization also contributes to the growth of the energy supply of the republic's agriculture - over the period under review, it increased from 109.9 to 124 horsepower per 100 hectares of sown area. Today, Alnashsky is the leader in this indicator among the rural areas of Udmurtia - the power supply of Alnash farms has reached 187 hp/100 ha.
As of January 1, 2022, 5508 tractors of various brands, 838 grain harvesters and 588 forage harvesters are represented in the agro-industrial complex of Udmurtia.
