In the United States expanded the list of drugs for the booster dose of the vaccine against COVID

The US medical regulator has allowed the mass use of additional (booster) doses of vaccines against covid-19 from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson (J&J), follows from a statement published on the official website of the regulator.

The document says the US Department of Health's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has expanded the use of booster doses of CORONAVIRUS vaccines to eligible populations.

The regulator noted that Moderna's booster dose should be administered "at least six months" after full vaccination. The permit is valid for people aged 18 to 64 at high risk of severe infection and for people 64 and older.

In the case of Johnson & Johnson, the booster dose can be given at least two months after full vaccination. This drug is effective in a single dose. The permit applies to people aged 18 and over, the regulator said in a statement.
