Nasal vaccine against COVID-19 arrived in the Nizhny Novgorod region

Medical organizations in the Nizhny Novgorod region have received a new batch of internal vaccine against covid-19 . This was announced by the Minister of HEALTH of the Nizhny Novgorod region David Melik-Guseinov.
The peculiarity of the vaccine is that it is not injected, but injected internally - through the nose.
The warehouse of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Pharmacy also received a batch of spray nozzles for the introduction of the vaccine.
“Logistics has been worked out and employees of medical organizations have been trained. covid has not disappeared, although it has reduced its aggressiveness. And vaccination is the most effective way to reduce the risks of a severe course of the disease,” David Melik-Guseinov wrote on his TELEGRAM channel.
The office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Nizhny Novgorod region reported that at the moment the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections is due mainly to influenza viruses, whose share in the general circulation is 75.6%. The influenza vaccination campaign in RUSSIA has been completed.
