From August 23, the Czech Republic will exclude Russia from the list of countries with a high risk of infection with CORONAVIRUS, said Czech HEALTH Minister Adam Vojtech, Ceske noviny reports.
In addition to Russia, Tunisia and India will be removed from the list.
Prague added Russia to this list on June 30, the measure came into effect on July 1. Initially, it was in force until the end of July, but then the authorities decided to extend it. Citizens of a country included in the list cannot enter the territory of the Czech Republic, as well as those who visited such a country. In addition, citizens of the Czech Republic are prohibited from visiting countries from the list with an increased level of infection.

The ban on entry into the Czech Republic does not apply to those who have a long-term or permanent residence permit, to EU citizens who were allowed to temporarily stay in the Czech Republic, to foreigners whose entry is in the foreign policy interests of the Czech Republic, to diplomats, professional athletes, international transport workers and for holders of long-term visas issued after 2 August.
