January 20, Liozno District. After reconstruction, a dairy complex for 776 heads of milking herd of the SUP Dolzha-Agro of OAO BelVitunifarm, located in the Liozno District, was opened, BELTA reports.
The facility was built in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 442 "On the Construction and Reconstruction of Dairy Farms".
it is a modern dairy complex with two cowsheds. The MTC also includes a milking block, a room for dry cows, a maternity ward, a
HEALTH center for calves, haylage trenches and a water intake. The adjacent territory was improved.
Chairman of the Liozno District Executive Committee Ivan Fedorov said that the facility was built in a short time - in 15 months. "Thanks to the reconstruction, the agricultural enterprise will be able to double the amount of
MILK it receives. At least 15 tons of the product will be able to be received here daily, and if they try, then all 20 tons," he noted.
The complex will employ 15 people.
The opening ceremony of the facility was attended by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin. He thanked the builders and everyone involved in the construction of the MTC. He noted that it was not easy for the region to build the first 10 complexes, and now the demand will come from farmers. "The Vitebsk region is in particular need of modern complexes where it is possible to strictly observe the technology of obtaining high-quality milk. Last year we had to hand over 10 MTCs, they are all signed. This year we are starting to build 10 more complexes. They will also be built using the same technology. In general, a strategy was developed to build 131 complexes throughout the region. We already know where 25 will be built, half of them have been built. Several years have been planned for this strategy. On average, 10-15 complexes will be commissioned per year. But the most important thing, as the builders said during the commissioning of the facility: we have had our say, now it is up to the farmers. In these wonderful conditions, we now need to obtain high-quality milk," said Alexander Subbotin. Photo by Alexander Khitrov
