Quarantine introduced at a breeding farm in the Leningrad region due to contagious dermatitis nodosa

To prevent the spread and eliminate the source of the disease on the farm,  quarantine was introduced . A set of measures is also being carried out: the destruction of biological waste and livestock products. Measures have been taken to prevent unauthorized persons and vehicles from entering the farm and livestock premises without the permission of veterinary specialists. All vehicles are disinfected.

In the Priozersky district, control over the sanitary condition of bazaars, exhibitions, broods and other places where livestock gathers has been organized. Trade in non-industrial animal products is prohibited.

Veterinary control has been additionally strengthened. Enterprises have been transferred to a special operating mode, and exercises are being conducted to test the interaction of all structures and departments. Deratization, disinfection, disinsection of livestock premises and decontamination of animals have been organized.
