September 26, MINSK. In the Smolevichi district, rescuers revealed violations of safety rules in 155 houses in two days. Andrei Sadovsky, official representative of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, told this to a BelTA correspondent.

"Last weekend, students of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations during a field training session worked out the skills of carrying out preventive work in a real environment. In total, violations of safety rules were identified in 155 households. In another 23 households, it is necessary to repair stove heating. As for autonomous fire detectors, their absence was revealed in 505 households and apartments.Stakeholders of prevention were informed about the work carried out.Rescuers reminded the residents of the Smolevichi district how to ensure the fire safety of a house or dacha.The homeowners were also explained how to avoid injury to a person by fire,distributed leaflets of a preventive nature and helped to equip citizens' houses with fire detectors," Andrey Sadovsky said.

The official representative of the university noted that during the gathering, more than 100 employees and cadets of the UPP, together with specialists from the Minsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, visited more than 600 private households in the Smolevichi district. Rescuers also visited 95 non-working elderly citizens living alone and disabled people of groups I and II, 17 large families, as well as one family where children were recognized as living in a socially dangerous situation. Residents of the district who abuse ALCOHOL, as well as 475 people belonging to other categories of citizens, did not go unnoticed.

Andrey Sadovsky recalled that the field training camp in this format was held for the third time. Earlier, similar events were held in Brest, Gomel and Mogilev regions. "The collection allows you to solve complex tasks of carrying out preventive work in the residential sector with various categories of citizens, as well as to identify factors that may threaten life safety and take prompt measures to eliminate them. The collection is also a unique practical opportunity for cadets of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to consolidate the theoretical knowledge gained Field training events will continue on October 1 and 2 in the Stolbtsovsky district," Andrey Sadovsky added.
