November 24, MINSK. Business forums of the food industry are aimed at increasing sales of Belarusian goods. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Belgospischeprom Concern Alexander Yakovchits during the opening ceremony of the Food Prom regional food industry business forum in Borisov, BelTA has learned.

"The purpose of such events is the same - to increase sales of Belarusian goods, to bring the product closer to customers. We organized the first Food Prom project in October in Minsk. During its implementation, we received a lot of good reviews, as well as proposals to hold similar events in the regions, in particular for and medium-sized businesses of the Minsk region. Today we brought more than 10 enterprises of the concern to Borisov. I think the project will not end there, and we will hold similar meetings in all regions of the country," said Alexander Yakovchits.

According to him, this year was very fruitful for the enterprises of the concern for new products. "We have made a lot of new useful, tasty and inexpensive products for customers. For example, cream honey, which we already supply to the usa , and now we are working on a contract in the UAE, as well as various snacks, popcorn, coffee drinks. We have good results this year in terms of confectionery industry: we acquired the assets of a factory in Ivenets, brought the candy "Korovka" into production according to Soviet recipes, successfully implemented projects for MILK, jelly, soufflé sweets. We already produce what we used to import. A new trademark Dofami was created, which specializes in the production of nectars and fruit drinks. In addition, we will have a lot of new products for the New Year," the deputy chairman of the concern added.

As Alexander Yakovchits noted, Belgospischeprom organizations have good indicators in terms of supplies for EXPORT, as well as for the domestic market. "Our main task, which the HEAD of state has set before us, is to sell our own. We know how and can do it," he stressed.

The largest food manufacturers - Kommunarka, Gamma Vkusa, Spartak, Slodych, Krasny Pischevik, Lidapishcheconcentrates, Mashpishcheprod, Belkofe, Starodorozhsky fruit and vegetable plant, gathered at the business site of Vesta OJSC , Gorodeya SUGAR Plant, representatives of local government and business.

Among the participants was the Minsk Crystal Group holding. The company presented one of the new products - organic vodka. "We produced this product at the beginning of 2021 and introduced it to the domestic market. In its manufacture, organic grain is used, which is certified according to all organic product standards. The grain is grown on fields that are not treated with fertilizers, pesticides. Another distinctive feature of the product is it contains an alcoholized infusion of bee bread," said Anna Zolotova, head of the holding's strategic marketing department. "We presented the first batch of vodka in our branded chain of stores, and retail trade also became interested in the product. Now we are seeing an increased demand for this product abroad. In December, pilot projects are being prepared. deliveries to Kazakhstan,CHINA has already received an application. However, due to the limited volumes of raw materials (grain), we are not yet able to fully satisfy all volumes of demand."

The regional business forum of the food industry in Borisov became the second within the framework of the Food Prom project, aimed at promoting the brands of Belarusian manufacturers and increasing the competitiveness of domestic goods. The participants of the event exchanged experience in the application of advanced technologies for the production and sale of products, as well as the development of partnerships with trade organizations. During the forum, a presentation and tasting of new types of confectionery, baby food, fruits and vegetables, food concentrates, as well as products made from potatoes, drinks and ALCOHOL took place. In addition, negotiations were held between manufacturing companies and representatives of network trade organizations of the Minsk region. The organizer of the forum is the Belarusian State Concern of the Food Industry "Belgospischeprom".
