The next, 11th, package of EU anti-Russian sanctions should be agreed by the end of June, when the EU summit will take place . This was stated by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna at the Council of Foreign Ministers in Brussels.
“We expect to finalize it as soon as possible, before the end of June - before the EU summit,” she said (the statement was posted on her Twitter page).
According to Colonna, the package is still being discussed, including technical and legal aspects. It will be considered again by the permanent representatives on 24 May.
