If you constantly keep the city in a state of expectation of some kind of horror, then this expectation itself will bring even more harm than the CORONAVIRUS pandemic. This was stated by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.

“If you constantly keep the city in a state of some kind of lockdown, waiting for some kind of horror, then this expectation itself and constant restrictions are even more harmful than the pandemic itself,” Sobyanin said.

According to him, as soon as there is a decrease in the incidence of covid-19 , the authorities begin to lift restrictions "so that people can breathe freely, communicate, walk around the city, return to normal life."

“Psychologically, sometimes such conditions lead to even more mortality and more morbidity,” the mayor said. He also added that no new restrictions will be introduced in the city in the near future.
