The HEAD of Ural Airlines talks about the delays of its flights and the overestimation of salaries for Superjet pilots
One of the reasons for the decline in the regularity of airline flights in 2021 was the lack of staff at airports, Sergey Skuratov, co-owner and CEO of Ural Airlines, said in an interview with RBC. According to him, due to flight delays this year, the airline has lost 100 million rubles, which, among other things, went to compensate passengers: their meals and hotel payments.
Skuratov also said that Russian Superjet 100 pilots at Red Wings receive "wild salaries". The top manager called the situation when the salary of Superjet pilots is higher than that of the pilots of the main Airbus aircraft operated by Ural Airlines "bad". According to him, the Red Wings sets an inflated salary "thanks to subsidies."Read the full interview with Skuratov on the RBC website.
