Less than 100 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Kuban for the third day in a row

As of May 5, 98 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection were registered in the Krasnodar Territory. This is reported by the operational headquarters of the region.

In Krasnodar, the presence of covid-19 was confirmed in 23 people per day, in Sochi – in 10, in Anapa – in 9 people.

3 new cases each were detected in Armavir, Belorechensky, Mostovsky, Apsheronsky districts. Two cases each - in Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Tuapse, Abinsk, Yeysk, Timashevsky, Primorsko-Akhtarsky, Seversky, Slavyansky, Kushchevsky districts. One person fell ill in Goryachiy Klyuch, Dinsky, Leningradsky, and Crimean regions.

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, coronavirus has been detected in 45,981 people, 40,459 patients have recovered, including 98 over the past day. 11 people died, fatal cases reached 2,728.

1186 residents with covid are being treated in hospitals, 1608 – at home. 61 patients are in serious condition on mechanical ventilation, two are on ECMO. In total, 229,055 people turned to the doctors of the region with suspicion of COVID-19. Laboratories conducted 2,960,002 tests, including 4,834 in the last 24 hours.
