A storm warning has been issued in Yalta on August 12 due to heavy rains. This was announced by the mayor of the city Yanina Pavlenko on her page in VKontakte.

“In the central, southern and eastern regions of Crimea, very heavy rains, large hail, a flurry of 20-25 m/s are expected,” Pavlenko wrote.

The HEAD of the city warned that the disaster could cause emergencies related to accidents at energy and utilities facilities, landslides, mudflows, soil subsidence and flooding of territories, as well as hail damage to agricultural land, roofs of buildings and structures.

“I beg you to refrain from walking around the city and sea! If possible, stay at home, ”added Pavlenko.
