Ksenofontova announced the death of actor Sergei Karyakin

The actor of the TV series “In the First Circle” and “Aerobatics” Sergey Karyakin died at the age of 50, actress Elena Ksenofontova said in her social networks.

“Seryozha Karyakin is gone. A wonderful artist, comrade, partner, person. Illness… The Kingdom of Heaven is yours, Seryozhka,” wrote Ksenofontova.

On April 7, the actor himself on his page on Vkontakte said that he had cancer. “I am sick and very serious. This is cancer. Worst of all, tongue cancer, and the first thing I lose is my profession. <...> There are chances. The disease was diagnosed too late, the form is aggressive, the localization is extremely uncomfortable, in short, I am not operable. But there is also immunotherapy, and in my case this is a chance, ”wrote Karyakin. The actor also said that due to illness he had lost up to 47 kg, in connection with which he was hospitalized on the same day in the Euroonko Moscow Cancer Center.

Sergey Karyakin was born on March 18, 1972. In 1997, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School, after which he began working at the Moscow New Drama Theater and the Gogol Theater, and collaborated with the Moscow State Philharmonic. Karyakin also played in films and TV shows, his most famous roles are in the series “Poor Nastya” (actor in the role of Romeo), “Aerobatics” (Sergey Vasiliev), “In the First Circle” (Dmitry Sologdin), “Favorite Collapse” ( Igor), "Day of Despair" (investigator Valery), etc.
