The station for artificial insemination (AI) of animals is located in the Korablinsky district of the Ryazan region. In total, there are two pig-breeding complexes of the company in the region, the report says. The farms are fully automated, and the ability to carry out artificial insemination close to the enterprises on their own site will further reduce the risk of infection of the livestock.
The first batch of animals was delivered from the Tver pig-breeding site of the Group of Companies - from the Zvyaginsky pig farm in the amount of 48 animals. In terms of breed composition, these are 29 heads of the Duroc breed, 6 heads of the Large White breed and 13 heads of the Landrace breed. All the animals are healthy, have breeding documents, have endured the journey well and have already settled into their new place and are welcome in the company.
Further, according to the production plan, high-quality seed material will be supplied to the Ryazan pig farms “Poplevinsky” and “Molovsky”, which were launched into commercial operation at the end of 2023. In total, Agropromkomplektatsiya has 22 modern pig farms and two breeding farms.
