The first harvest of apples grown using intensive technology is harvested in the Chishminsky fruit nursery of Bashkiria

On September 15, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov visited the site of the Chishminsky fruit nursery. Since 2020, an investment project has been implemented in the Chishminsky district to lay out intensive-type gardens. it was considered at a thematic online meeting in the Invest Hour format, which was held in November 2020 by the HEAD of the Republic of Belarus, Radiy Khabirov.
The first stage of the large-scale project of the Chishminsky fruit and vegetable nursery is being completed in the current year 2022, on an area of ​​​​more than 80 hectares, APPLE orchards of intensive and super-intensive type were laid on the farm. Today, the first harvests are just getting here. Ilshat Fazrakhmanov examined the plots where apples are grown using intensive technology. It was just here that the harvest of bright and fresh fruits of the Zhigulevsky variety was going on. As noted by the nursery experts, five varieties of apples grow in intensive plots, the ripening periods of which differ. This was done for the convenience of collecting fruits, because they must be collected at a certain stage of ripening in order to be stored for a long time. While the yield of orchards is low, the peak indicator reaches the 5th year of cultivation. It is expected that in a couple of years, 30 tons of apples will be harvested from each hectare of these orchards.
“This is a very difficult, risky business. However, you managed to get the first harvest using new technologies, as promised, in the third year, - said Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. – We believe that your facility will become a good example for scaling in the republic. There are all possibilities for this.”
