Hunting for business: Tyumen hotels and recreation centers are in the top

A surge of interest is expected in these areas Realtors expect a surge in applications for the purchase of recreation centers and hotels

Recreation centers and hotels will begin to enjoy increased interest among entrepreneurs.

Realtors expect a surge in bids in this segment. This was told to RBC Tyumen by Anton Leskin, HEAD of the sale and lease of commercial premises of the federal company Etazhi. The reason for this is changes in tax legislation in relation to the hotel and tourism business.

“Now there are good options on the market, including recreation centers from large companies that are moving away from non-core assets for them. In light of the fact that in the near future domestic tourism will receive state support and demand will be higher due to restrictions in external tourism, business will begin to invest more actively in this area,” Leskin explained.

Irina Kosogorova, General DIRECTOR of the School of Hospitality and Service, an expert on the state classification system for hotels and accommodation facilities, spoke about the factors on which the profitability of the hotel business depends.

“In the hotel business, success primarily depends on the location and the target audience, because if, for example, it is just about the flow - for example, the passenger flow of Russian Railways, then the location near the station can play a role. If we are talking about the city center with proximity to all administrative buildings, entertainment venues, then this is a different target audience. First of all, the location is important for the target client to whom you can be useful,” the expert explained.
