
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss will arrive in Moscow on February 9 for a two-day visit to urge RUSSIA to de-escalate in Ukraine. The agency announced this on its website.
During the visit, she will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. “Lise Truss will fly to Moscow today to call on the Kremlin to de-escalate and stop the aggression against Ukraine <...> She will make it clear that the current strategy of the Kremlin is damaging Russia’s reputation and interests,” the publication says.
Truss intends to explain to the Russian authorities that they must choose the path of diplomacy and comply with international agreements.
During her first visit in four years, she will also attend classes in physics and mathematics at Moscow State University to support the common interest in science between Russia and the UK, the agency said.
