July 27, MINSK . President of Belarus ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO has set a task to establish mass production of Belarusian sweets according to a Chinese recipe by the end of this year. This was announced to journalists by Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats following a meeting with the HEAD of state, BelTA has learned.
On behalf of the President, trial samples of such sweets (8 varieties) were promptly made on the domestic equipment of one of the enterprises. For them, a tablet form was chosen. "In terms of taste, it's quite good (the product. - Approx. BELTA)," the Deputy Prime Minister believes. "It contains natural products: whole MILK powder , whey, lactose, fruit filler."
Leonid Zayats also offered journalists to evaluate the taste of the new delicacy. By all accounts, the product is curious and, for some, nostalgic. For those whose childhood fell on the times of the Soviet Union, the sweets reminded of the dry milk formula for baby food "Malyutka".
"The President has set a task - by the end of this year, it is necessary to ensure the mass production of such a product both for domestic consumption of our population and for EXPORT outside our state," the Deputy Prime Minister informed. To launch mass production, the necessary technological line will be purchased, including packing and packaging.
Alexander Lukashenko and Leonid ZayatsAs BelTA reported, recently during one of his working trips, the head of state drew attention to a popular product in CHINA - sweets made from pressed powdered milk. There is enough of this raw material in Belarus, and the President offered to organize such production in Belarus. Officials quickly responded to Alexander Lukashenko's order, and a small trial batch has already been released.
"You were instructed to make sweets. Did you make them or not? So that people understand that we have skimmed milk powder - the sea. And in China, we spied on their production technology for various kinds of confectionery, in this case sweets. Generally without SUGAR from powdered milk. You can add some herbal supplements there, especially for children,” the head of state emphasized at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zaits on July 27. “Honestly, when Nikolai brought them to me from China, I tried it myself. Of course, this is not for me "But children , small children consume this delicacy with the greatest pleasure. Why can't we do it and sell it? And, most importantly, provide for our people."
"In accordance with your instruction, our specialists have responded," said Leonid Zayats, presenting the already packaged finished product to the President.
Alexander Lukashenko is sure that such natural sweets may also have a good export potential: “You see, the Chinese are doing great .
"I think it will even go to Africa," said Leonid Zayats.
"Well, anywhere - Africa, China. We are working with them," the President emphasized.
