"Sowing" in the Bobruisk region: in the Mogilev region they started the sowing campaign

As Anatoly Isachenko, chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, noted during the solemn event, a strength test has begun for farmers, in which every fine day is important. "According to a long-standing belief, the sowing ritual contributes to a successful agricultural year. it also means that the spring sowing campaign has begun in the Mogilev region. However, in addition to popular beliefs, in order to get a generous harvest, it is important to carry out sowing in optimal agrotechnical terms," ​​he stressed. it is important that the heads of agricultural organizations, chief specialists, machine operators - all those who are involved in spring field work, work to the highest quality."

"Sowing" took place today on the field near the village of Mikhalevo 3, Bobruisk district. As Elena Patsiyenko, DIRECTOR of OAO Mikhalevskaya Niva, said, the sowing campaign is approached with the utmost responsibility in the field. “We need to feed the people, the country. To receive revenue so that people can support their families. Therefore, everyone is trying to work. We have to work 12 hours a day, all daylight hours. If necessary, we go out at night. The farm has 6.4 thousand hectares of arable land, almost 1.6 thousand hectares have been sown with winter crops, and more than 1.1 thousand hectares have to be sown with spring crops. because in the past we had a good harvest from the experimental field. This is a great help to the farm."

According to the governor, this year the Mogilev region has everything to carry out the sowing campaign in a quality manner. “There is everything you need: seeds, fertilizers. The equipment has been repaired, there is a human resource,” he noted. we had MILK and MEAT.We understand that this year there will be a demand for food products, and we are doing everything necessary to ensure that there is enough of them not only for our region and the country as a whole, but also so that we can sell them abroad "There is a peculiarity of the sowing season in our region: sowing is already beginning in some regions, but not yet in the more northern ones. But this is not bad, we will be able to distribute our resources in order to weed out in a timely manner."

More than 385 thousand hectares of spring crops are to be sown in the region, of which over 113 thousand hectares will be early spring cereals and legumes.
