Immediately in the vicinity of Oktyabrsky, they tried to find the mother of the moose cubs in order to give them the opportunity to stay in their natural environment. They launched a drone, studied the area, but the search was unsuccessful. The elk babies were carefully settled in one of the spacious enclosures. They named after their rescuers who brought them to the zoo - Ruslan and Lyudmila. The man is a representative of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen, the woman is a veterinarian. Zookeepers bottle feed goat milk to babies. “They won’t be able to return to the forest anymore - they are used to people, they always run towards them. When they were just brought in, they even had an umbilical cord. Our red-eared and marsh turtles, as well as pets of Oktyabrsky residents, start. The race turns out to be very spectacular, active, with its fans," Svetlana Sinkevich notes.

"The zoo is one of the hallmarks of the Oktyabrsky district. it was opened in May 2003. More than 12,000 people visit the establishment every year.
