Mowing is in full swing
In the center of the agro-town of Klepachi, which is in the Pruzhany district, we meet with the DIRECTOR of JSC Zhuravlinoe, member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Pishch. The director proudly tells how the agricultural enterprise lives today. - We receive the main revenue from livestock farming, in particular milk production. In January-May of this year, the dairy herd gave 26 thousand tons. Everything goes to JSC Savushkin Product, - the director specifies . - The second most important industry is crop production, aimed at providing a forage base. Right now, we are preparing haylage from the first cut. Of course, the vagaries of spring made it not as generous as we would like, but we will catch up with the volumes in the second mowing. 3.8 thousand hectares are allocated for corn. We will definitely provide a forage base with a reserve for our 6.5 thousand HEAD of dairy herd.

At one time, 4 territorial machine yards were created on the farm. According to chief engineer Anton Rybachok, this significantly reduces the time it takes for equipment to get to the field and also reduces fuel costs. In the Machine Operator's House, workers can have lunch, and in the machine and tractor yard there is a service and repair point for equipment, a turning and welding shop. There is a warehouse fully equipped with spare parts for the hot season. The equipment of the machine yard allows for repair and maintenance of equipment in the shortest possible time. In addition, the machine and tractor fleet of OAO Zhuravlinoe is updated annually. Now it has 83 tractors, 12 of which are energy-saturated, 55 trucks, more than 300 units of other agricultural machinery and units.
- The main equipment is now at the mowing. We assemble the links in such a way as to avoid downtime. For example, for uninterrupted operation, several vehicles are assigned to one forage harvester for transportation, - says Anton Rybachok and notes that all grain harvesters without exception are ready for the start of the season.

I remember when I first came here during the collapse of the Union, there was no equipment, no tractor drivers, and the agro-town was not developing, - recalls Alexander Mikhailovich. - Now Zhuravlinoe has modern equipment. Klepachi has grown and become prettier. There are all the amenities for life - no worse than in the city. And people have become more prosperous. And our farm deserves a lot of credit for this.

Milk yield is in the details The head of Zhuravlinoe OJSC sends livestock technicians, veterinarians, and agronomists for internships, including abroad, to introduce new technologies in animal husbandry and crop production. For example, in October last year, specialists adopted scientific and practical experience from Krasnodar livestock breeders, which is already being applied on the farm. 
Svetlana Varitskaya, head of the Belousovshchina dairy complex for 1,100 heads, noted the high level of discipline on the farms and the organization of the milking process with a minimum level of stress for the animals among Russian colleagues.

- The calmer the cow , the more milk she produces. But the most important thing is always the diet, which our chief livestock specialist calculates so that the animal does not gain weight, - Svetlana Varitskaya says with knowledge of the matter. - If the cow is fit and lean within 600-650 kg, she works for milk . Above the norm - for her fat, and this is an unjustified expense. Therefore, every Thursday at the complex, the quality of the feed mixture is checked through a special sieve.
It turns out that even the cutting of silage or haylage and their ash content affect the milk yield. In addition, every hour the feed is turned over by a self-propelled gun to enrich it with oxygen, increase humidity and friability. Complying with all the rules and adhering to the strictest technology, the complex produces 27 tons of milk daily. 
- Of course, this is not the limit and there is room to grow, - Svetlana Varitskaya says and notes that the cows have an automatic ventilation system. During hot weather, water-drip irrigation is turned on. All these modern approaches have a positive effect on the comfort of the cows.  Caring for people OAO Zhuravlinoe pays considerable attention to the development of the social sphere in the countryside and creates living conditions for people no worse than in the city. Thus, in the agro-town of Mokroe, a hotel complex has been built, equipped according to modern standards. A wide range of goods is sold in 4 company stores of the enterprise.  In addition to the hotel, the agricultural enterprise has a hostel. The housing stock also consists of more than 200 apartments and manor-type houses. The management is obliged to provide families and young specialists with square meters. Recently, an amendment was made to the collective agreement, which implies reimbursement of part of the funds to employees renting housing. 



- We have a very extensive social package, we try to support our farmers from the moment they came to us as young specialists and retired as labor veterans. The collective agreement includes mandatory gifts and bonuses for all public holidays and anniversaries. We also provide financial assistance to employees participating in district and regional sports and cultural events, - notes Alexander Pishch and claims that the farm helps targeted students of colleges and universities. Depending on their academic performance, they are transferred money . Young specialists who, after working with the agricultural enterprise, have signed a five-year contract are entitled to payments in the amount of 460 basic units.

• The close-knit team of JSC "Zhuravlinoe" consists of 768 people, 141 of whom are young personnel. The management positions at the enterprise are occupied by specialists up to 31 years old.
