Volfovich: Grodno region shows sustainable development, the task is to achieve high results in all areas

27 February, Grodno. The socio-economic complex of the Grodno Region is in the leading positions in six out of eight criteria for assessing its work, and work needs to be done to ensure that high results are achieved in all areas without exception. This was stated by State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich before a meeting of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, which summed up the results of the region's socio-economic development in 2024 and defined tasks for 2025, a BELTA correspondent reports.

"The work of the socio-economic complex is currently assessed based on eight indicators. The Grodno Region shows consistently high results in six criteria, exceeding the national average. There are questions about two indicators: attracting investment in fixed assets and construction of rental housing. We will consider these issues today, constructive positions will be developed, tasks will be set. Work needs to be done to ensure that the Grodno Region occupies leading positions in the country in all eight criteria in 2025," Aleksandr Volfovich said.
As the State Secretary of the Security Council noted, over the course of several days, the fulfillment of the order for wintering cattle in the districts, the condition of dairy farms, machine yards, and preparation of equipment for spring field work were checked. Overall, the impression is positive. More than 35 modern dairy farms have been built, where good conditions have really been created. There are also those that need to be updated. People's attitude to the matter, optimism, is encouraging, regardless of the complex, if the personnel treat the matter with soul and responsibility, then the milk yield and quality of milk meet the requirements.
According to the State Secretary of the Security Council, it would be good for city dwellers to visit the village more often, to see how hard it is to get the abundance on the shelves of our stores.

As Aleksandr Volfovich emphasized, there were also problematic issues that were pointed out to the heads of farms. He expressed confidence that everything necessary would be promptly corrected so that everything would be as it should be in our republic - excellent.
