April 20, Minsk. The driver of the capital's enterprise appropriated dairy products before shipping the goods, BelTA learned from the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Employees of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Zavodskoy District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk revealed a scheme of theft of products at a plant in the capital.

The investigation established that the 29-year-old driver of the enterprise received products at the warehouse, which he was supposed to deliver to retail facilities. On the way, the defendant took several items of goods from the parties, namely glazed curds, milk , cottage cheese, kefir, cheese. Upon receipt of goods in hypermarkets, receivers did not count some commodity items and reflected this in the return invoice. The driver accepted the document, but did not hand it over to the plant management.

So, in the period from 2019 to 2022, the detainee appropriated dairy products worth more than Br6.2 thousand.

Investigators opened a criminal case for misappropriation of entrusted products.
