Belarus and Pakistan are strengthening agricultural cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food following a working meeting between Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vadim Shagoiko and representatives of the mixed ministerial delegation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The delegation was headed by First Deputy Minister of National and Food Security of Pakistan Wasim Anjamal and Deputy Minister of Industry and Production Saif Anjum.
"Last year, the growth rate of agricultural and food supplies from Belarus to Pakistan amounted to 139.5% compared to the 2023 level. Traditionally, dry baby

To strengthen bilateral relations, a working group has been created to develop cooperation in new areas.
Belarus is proud of its achievements in the development of agriculture. The implementation of state programs to support the agro-industrial complex has made
it possible to increase the production of competitive products and reorient foreign trade towards
exports . The bulk of exports are dairy and
MEAT products , as well as crop products.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange sanitary requirements for access to animal products markets, establish cooperation in the field of aquaculture, including internships for Pakistani specialists in Belarus, and continue work on registering veterinary drugs and their supplies to Pakistan. Cooperation in the seed sector will also be strengthened, including testing plant varieties.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing the partnership.
