MINSK . Rescuers helped the driver of a
MILK tanker who was trapped in the car after an accident in the Stolbtsy district. BELTA was informed about this by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Today, May 20, at 7.19 am, rescuers received a signal that help was needed in unblocking a person from a car near the village of Opechki, Stolbtsovsky district.
As rescuers said, upon arriving at the call address, they found out that the driver of the milk tanker had lost control, causing the car to collide with a tree. “Using a hydraulic rescue tool, we helped the driver get out of the car: his leg and body were pressed by the steering column. To keep the man conscious, we talked to him while providing assistance,” said the Ministry of Emergency Situations workers who participated in the rescue operation.
The rescued man was taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity by the ambulance team.
