The active phase of spring field work has ended in the Minsk region. The specialists of OAO "Gastellovskoye" successfully coped with the task. At the enterprise, which is famous for its high performance and product quality, all work was completed within agrotechnical terms. We tell you how the sowing campaign went and what are the prospects for the 2023 harvest.

“Our company has been in existence since the 1930s,” says Stanislav Sokolovsky , director of OAO Gastellovskoye. - And already in the 1950s, it showed worthy results, which were marked with high awards. So, in 1967 the team was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. The development of the enterprise proceeded systematically, new technologies were mastered, and today, after a long and difficult path, we are showing a worthy result.

Today JSC "Gastellovskoye" is a diversified enterprise that specializes in meat and dairy farming and crop production. The organization is one of the leading producers of agricultural products in the Minsk region. Among other things, JSC "Gastellovskoye" has the status of a tribal agricultural organization.

The Gastellites prove their class not by word, but by deed. Just look at the statistics: according to the results of last year's harvest, the grain harvest alone amounted to about 108 centners per hectare - this is one of the highest figures not only in the Minsk region, but also in the country.

- Other crops have also been born: sugar beet - more than 800 centners per circle, potatoes - 660 centners, rapeseed - about 5 tons per hectare. The indicators are good. Nevertheless, we have the potential for development, we are ready to show the numbers and the quality even higher, - says Stanislav Cheslavovich.

OAO "Gastellovskoye" is also among the ten largest enterprises in terms of milk yield per animal . In annual terms, a cow gives an average of about 11 thousand kilograms of raw materials.

- The total number of cattle exceeds 6 thousand animals. And this means that the food base must be appropriate. Therefore, we give a lot of land for sowing corn - a little more than a thousand hectares of arable land. There are areas for various herbs, - notes Stanislav Sokolovsky.

Sowing activities in the fields of "Gastellovsky" have already been completed. On the day of our visit, machine operators were actively working on sowing potatoes and corn. Some of the employees were engaged in the chemical treatment of crops, as well as the export of organic matter. Work is in full swing, technology is constantly in motion. One of the leaders, machine operator Oleg Tsarenko, works the fields at the ROSA complex. By mid-May, it has more than 4,000 hectares.

- Of course, the work is not easy, but the return is appropriate. All conditions have been created for the employees at the enterprise. There is only one requirement - to work honestly and with dignity. In our team, everyone strives for this approach,” says the machine operator

Denis Milishkevich carries out chemical treatment of sugar beet crops in the neighboring field. Mechanic says:

- The hottest time has come. We work from early morning until late at night, as long as the weather permits. During the rain, our manipulations do not make sense. At the same time, it is necessary to strictly adhere to cultivation technologies. I didn’t process the beets in time - weeds went, which is detrimental to the culture.

But Valery Laptsevich is busy sowing corn. Behind the shoulders of the machine operator is already more than a dozen hectares of cultivated soil.

– And how much more is ahead… – says the specialist. - Of course, we try to do everything on time, the benefit of both the equipment and the weather allows. Although in March-April the heavenly office showed its temper. Now we are actively working to get a decent harvest.

Rostyslav Mikhalchik is responsible for the removal of organic matter. Prior to this, the specialist was also involved in the sowing of various crops. The machine operator has been working in the agricultural sector for more than a year.

“And every season is remembered for something special. This year, we remember the vagaries of the weather, which quite strongly influenced our work at the beginning of spring. Nevertheless, we coped with all the difficulties and are optimistic about the future, - says the specialist.

Decent work - fair wages. This is the approach of the management of the enterprise. On average, an employee of Gastellovsky earns about 2,150 rubles. However, there are many requirements.

“First of all, it is, of course, about discipline,” the leader draws attention. Agriculture is a complex and unpredictable industry. It is very important to strictly follow agrotechnical technologies and meet deadlines. After all, a key role can be played not only by a day, but by a few hours .

OAO "Gastellovskoye" has the financial capacity to build even multi-apartment residential buildings. One of these was built about 10 years ago. And soon the housing stock will be replenished with another 125 apartments.

- We recently concluded an agreement with one of the capital's construction organizations, a land plot was allocated by the head of state. New housing, I am sure, will motivate employees to conscientious work even more. After all, according to the decree of the President, if a person has worked for 10 years in an organization and at the same time has no penalties, square meters can be redeemed for ownership. Prices are definitely lower than commercial ones. Building a house is necessary. Today, we have more than 50 people in need of better living conditions, - said the head.

In these May days, the team faces one task - to form a crop and carry out its high-quality harvesting.

– We have technologies that have proven their relevance, they are time-tested. A strong backbone of specialists with knowledge and experience has been formed. We will not get ahead of ourselves, but I can say for sure: we will do everything to make the harvest worthy and of high quality, - summed up Stanislav Sokolovsky.

This amount of milk is produced at Gastellovskoye OJSC. Raw materials, mainly extra varieties, are supplied to one of the capital's city dairy plants. It produces tasty and healthy products. In total, the dairy complexes of the enterprise contain over 1,740 heads of dairy herds. And the total number of cattle exceeds the bar of 6 thousand animals.

OAO "Gastellovskoye" is a relatively small farm. The area of ​​agricultural land barely exceeds 4,000 hectares. Nevertheless, from year to year, the specialists of the enterprise show an impressive result both in terms of quantity and quality of the crop , being an example for many agrarian organizations in the country.

More than 400 hectares of winter rapeseed were sown by the specialists of the enterprise last year. A good harvest is expected in 2023. Rapeseed is processed here with the help of their own small production.
