October 12, MINSK. In September, grapes and carrots fell in price, cucumbers and tomatoes rose in price, BelTA informs citing the data of the National Statistical Committee.

Grapes fell in price by 19.32%, carrots - by 16.99%, beets - by 15.68%, fresh white cabbage - by 8.06%, potatoes - by 2.19%, onions - by 1.75% . Cucumbers went up by 88.95%, tomatoes - by 51.07%, bananas - by 32.72%, pears - by 7.38%, corn flakes - by 6.69%, citrus fruits - by 4.53%, vinegar - by 4.45%.

In general, vegetables became more expensive by 10.59%, fruits - by 5.52%. MILK and dairy products went up by 0.79%, MEAT and meat products - by 3.92%, fish and fish products - by 0.81%, bread and bakery products - by 0.67%.

Lunches in the canteen went up by 0.94%, in restaurants and cafes - by 1.7%, fast food - by 1.27%.

Tobacco products rose in price by 1.1%, alcoholic beverages - by 0.38%.

Non-food products in September became more expensive by 0.98%. Clothes went up by 1.33%, shoes - by 0.85%. Furniture became more expensive by 1%, carpet products - 1.09%, building materials - 1.63%, medicines - 0.16%.

The cost of services increased by 0.53%. In September, hot water supply went up by 9.53%, education services - by 6.74%, baths and showers, saunas - by 3.05%, tourist services - by 3.05%. Services of preschool institutions became cheaper by 8.88%, railway transport - by 7.82%, concert organizations - by 3.36%.

As reported, inflation in Belarus in September amounted to 1.3%.
