July 21, Minsk. Veterinarians rescued a polar bear in the Krasnoyarsk Territory with a can of condensed milk stuck in its mouth. This was announced by the head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Radionova, the Izvestia newspaper writes.
On July 20, a polar bear came to the people in the village of Dikson in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with a can stuck in its mouth. Veterinarians from the Moscow Zoo, who urgently flew to the village, managed to save the polar bear. "Succeeded. Saved. Pulled the jar out of the white bear's mouth!" - wrote a representative of the department in his Telegram channel.Earlier, Svetlana Radionova said that veterinarians are doing everything possible to save the predator. It is planned that after helping the animal, it will be taken away from the settlements and provided with a supply of fish. Due to exhaustion, the bear will not be able to hunt on its own at first.
The veterinarians clarified that the main danger to the bear due to the stuck can was that the animal could become dehydrated. The tin could also damage the animal's mouth, especially if the bear, due to stress, tried to remove it on its own.
