More than three tons of impersonal butter and cheese were found at the dairy plant in the Orel region.  ROSSELKHOZNADZOR specialists, together with the prosecutor's office and the police, visited the enterprise "Orlovskie Cheese" with a raid. Dairy products were brought there from time to time and there was no exit from the enterprise.

So the inspectors found more than three tons of impersonal dairy products - presumably butter, melted butter, "Kosichka" cheese, melted butter "Ghi". The products with the future date of production were also found. These are 2461 kg of brine cheese "Chechil Classic" without marking (1819 kg) and with the future date of production (642 kg), 72.8 kg of melted butter "Ghi" with the future date of production, as well as 24 kg of unmarked cottage cheese and almost 82 kg of cottage cheese and cheese with expired shelf life.

Specialists also found raw materials weighing almost 643 kg, which were used for the production of melted "Ghi" butter. They did not have labels and documents confirming the quality and safety.

"In addition, at the time of the inspection, about 130 litres of melted butter were in the process of being produced, as well as packaging and labelling of oil-like products. According to the labeling applied by the manufacturer, low-quality products were intended for sale in the retail network of VkusVill," reports Rosselkhoznadzor.

Dairy products and raw materials were seized before the decision to destroy them was taken. Later, laboratory tests showed that butter and cheese contain bacteria of E. coli group, and sulfametazine in cottage cheese. The regional Rosselkhoznadzor is currently conducting another unscheduled inspection at the plant.
