The Ministry of Agriculture and Food spoke about the most popular export items of dairy products

October 26, MINSK . Deputy HEAD of the Main Directorate of Processing Industry of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Maria Klimova spoke at the IX International Forum "Belarus Dairy" about the most popular EXPORT items of dairy products this year, BELTA correspondent reports.

According to the deputy head of the main department of processing industry of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the export of Belarusian dairy products is growing every year.

“We are developing MILK drying as a separate segment. From it we produce concentrated milk and whey proteins. Thus, the market for protein products is demonstrating a steady growth in demand. Market capacity is growing due to the fact that protein products from milk powder are in demand in the production of sports and baby food "Also, a wide range of whole milk products are produced from powdered milk and milk formulas in other countries - soft cheeses , ice cream , etc. All this allows us to increase the volume of supplies abroad," said Maria Klimova.

She added that this year butter is in greater demand than ever in the export of dairy products . Thus, during the current period, the growth rate of animal oil production was 122%.

“The platform of today’s forum brought together about 500 participants. Speakers from 11 countries of the world are discussing with Belarusian manufacturers pressing issues of technology development, the use of modern equipment, as well as the practical application of all new products and innovations in the production of innovative products,” noted the deputy head of the main department of the processing industry Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

On October 26-27, the IX International Forum “Belarus Dairy” is taking place in Minsk . This year's theme is "A New Era of Milk". The program includes current dairy market analytics, the most important market and consumer trends, issues of industry strategy and promotion to foreign markets, and the development of domestic consumption. The purpose of the forum is to discuss current problems and possible directions of movement for the dairy industry.

Among other things, the forum will honor the laureates of traditional awards: “100 Roads of Export” - for the best exporters, “Big Stars of the Milky Way” - for personal contribution to the development of enterprises and the entire dairy industry.
