During an inspection of the Klimovichi District Consumer Society, popsicle ice cream with MILK fat substitute and “Boiled Condensed Milk” cream with Russian-made waffle crumbs was found on sale.
Based on the results of the inspection, it was established that the products do not comply with the requirements of technical regulations of the Customs Union 021/2011 “On the safety of food products”, 033/2013 “On the safety of milk and dairy products”, 022/2011 “Food products in terms of their labeling”, 029/ 2012 "Safety requirements for food additives, flavorings and processing aids."
As a result of the tests, the mass fraction of milk fat in the fat phase was 2.6%, which indicates the replacement of milk fat with its substitute in the amount of 97.4%, with a replacement rate of no more than 50%.
Also, in the production of products, a compound component was used, declared in the labeling as a natural food coloring "Bioron", without indicating a list of all components included in its composition. Gosstandart banned the import and sale of this ice cream in the country.
