MINSK. At the Technical University of Darmstadt, seven people were poisoned by an unknown substance, among them students and employees, according to the German newspaper Die Zeit.
Several people were hospitalized on Monday with symptoms of intoxication, such as malaise and skin discoloration, according to police. One of the injured students is in critical condition.
it is reported that traces of the chemical were found on water bottles and
MILK bags in one of the university buildings.
"We are shocked that what appears to have been a crime committed at our university," said university
HEAD Tanya Brühl.
The toxic substance is currently being studied in the laboratory. Other food and drinks that were on the territory of the building are also being investigated. No other details of the incident were given.
