This year, more efforts will have to be made to bring the grain to the required conditions,” Alexei Zhuravlev stressed.

50 combines participate in this harvesting campaign in the Bobruisk region. "Everyone is on the move and ready for work. The region provided assistance in providing the necessary spare parts. The team of machine operators is also staffed, combine operators work together with assistants. Fuels and lubricants are available, all emerging issues are resolved in working order," he stressed.

As Aleksey Zhuravlev noted, due to the shift in harvest time, work on farms will overlap. “We understand the responsibility that lies with us not only for this year’s harvest, but also for the next one. Therefore, we have already started arable work for winter rapeseed. We have 100% fertilizer supply for this crop, therefore we are already laying a good foundation for the 2023 harvest, - he said. - Our farmers are in a fighting mood. Everyone understands perfectly well that we are responsible for the food safety not only of our district and region, but of the whole country. And a lot will depend on how we harvest and preserve the crop. Therefore that if there is grain, we will have meat, and milk , and prosperity."

According to the first deputy chairman of the district executive committee, the prospects for harvest this year are better than last. “In general, it’s too early to say, because the harvesting is still gaining momentum in the region, but we already see that the harvest will be better. Our main task is to carry out all the work on time and in accordance with technological standards. Of course, we set a goal to exceed last year’s figures,” he noted. "Everyone is motivated for high results. During the harvest, the work of each person in his place is important. And everyone understands this. There are no questions about discipline, there is still a competition between combine operators and drivers. And this gives even more incentive to work."
