Agricultural products worth Br1.2 billion produced in Belarus in January

February 15, MINSK. The production of agricultural products in January 2022 in farms of all categories (in agricultural organizations, peasant (farm) farms, households) amounted to Br1252.4 million, or in comparable prices 99.7% of the level of January 2021, BelTA learned from the National statistics committee.

Agricultural organizations produced products worth Br1219.2 million, or in comparable prices 99.98% of the level of the corresponding period of the previous year.

Farms of all categories produced 147.5 thousand tons of livestock and poultry, 643.6 thousand tons of MILK, 292.3 million eggs.

Agricultural organizations account for 96.1% of livestock and poultry production in live weight, 98.4% of milk and 93.4% of egg production.

As of February 1, there were 4.2 million heads of cattle in agricultural organizations, including 1.4 million cows. The number of pigs was 2.3 million.
