Agricultural products worth Br6.7 billion produced in Belarus in January-May

June 15, MINSK. The production of agricultural products in January-May 2022 in farms of all categories (agricultural organizations, peasant (farm) households, households) amounted to Br6.7 billion, or in comparable prices 97.1% compared to the same period in 2021, reported BelTA in the National Statistical Committee.

Farms of all categories produced 716.1 thousand tons of livestock and poultry, 3213.8 thousand tons of MILK, 1399.2 million eggs. Agricultural organizations account for 96.7% of livestock and poultry production in live weight, 97.8% of milk and 87.5% of eggs.

As of June 1, 2022, there were 4.1 million heads of cattle in agricultural organizations, including 1.4 million cows. The number of pigs was 2.3 million.
