
July 10, Moscow . In January-May, Belarus experienced the highest growth in agricultural production among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. This follows from the data provided by BelTA to the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
"In January - May 2023, agricultural production in the Eurasian Economic Union in farms of all categories increased by 3.2% compared to January - May 2022. Growth was observed in Belarus - by 5.4%, Kazakhstan - by 3.5 %, Russia - by 3% and Kyrgyzstan - by 2.4%," the press service said.In particular, in the EAEU , the production of the main types of livestock products increased: livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) - by 2.8%, milk - by 3.7%, eggs - by 2.1%.
